To create my proposed transformation, I believe that it will be most effective to upload the 'birthday' image as a background and then I will transform the candles and sound effects. This is the best option (rather than trying to transform the entire screen) as this enables the user to focus on what the purpose of the sketch is and there will also be a clear understanding of the link between the sound and transformation. 


For my first trial of the sketch I will also not worry about the red 'scale' diagram that I have in my sketches. Instead of trying to get the user to place their mouse in this area to create the transformation/sound I am aiming to have this function working effectively over the entire screen. I think that this will make it easier to use and also help with my coding!
